Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Can’t find your answer? Write to us

Does WHTP provide treatment or refer patients?

No. WHTP does not make clinical decisions, provide treatment or act as a commercial patient broker. Clinical responsibility lies with the competent providers of care. The platform’s role is knowledge, standard development, training and cooperation.

Can we obtain DSTP Accredited status?

Not yet. DSTP Accredited is a reference system in development, and no certification is offered at this stage. If you would like to contribute to developing the method as a volunteer institution, choose “Quality work / pilot participation” in the form.

Does the target country list show existing partnerships?

No. The list of 30 countries is a development target; it does not mean existing offices or signed agreements. Partnerships are published only once confirmed and approved for publication.

How can I join a training programme?

Our first programmes are being prepared. Each programme’s audience, content and certificate type will be announced with it. To be kept informed, write to us choosing “Training & Academy” in the form.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

The scope of the scholarship and mentoring programme will depend on available resources. Eligibility, selection criteria and the timeline will be announced on this site once finalised.

What is WHTP’s legal status?

Our foundation is currently being established. Meanwhile, we share our vision, our publications and the work we plan to develop.
